What i found interesting about the first website was that it used a wide variety of search engines and blogging sites combined into one ranging from Blogs, Jounarlism and even Magazines all in one place. Each story had a newspaper type slogan which would help to convince the person viewing the site pick the best story for them. The site also used images and videos to help gain their viewers attention and not bore them with thousands of worded essay style writing. It can even allow people to add it to two of the biggest social networks (Facebook & Twitter). It is also able to link people to other sites such as Metro, BBC, NHS Choices and Channel 4 this is a good factor as many will come to this site and read a story and want to find out where they can find more therefore by this site playing host to others it gives them as well as smaller websites wider coverage.

On the other hand the second website which is someone's Blog was very different to the first website as this one is directed at Alevel students. I like his use of footage and images as like the first website it makes it interesting and appealing to those who will be reading it and seeing it as it becomes a whole lot more appealing rather than having just writing. For example his use of good explanationa and annotation on his piece about Film Openings it helps the viewetr to understand what he is saying with the help of a visual guide.
