Evaluation Question 2

Our main character fits into the social class which is stereotypically known as the "Rich Girl" class. Those associated with this class are well off and well represented however as our character does not enter the opening shot in a chauffeur driven car it suggest that she is off a lower class . She is well dressed and has the latest technology therefore it shows she has wealth at her hands.

We decided to have our main character in this social class as these particular people are disliked because they either flash their money so to speak and feel that they are higher than others. Also they tend to have mis fortune bestowed upon them therefore we went with this class as our character has to suffer at the hands of a monster, student eating Teacher.

Our character relates to Chelsea Parker from St Trinians, this particular character is in away similar to what we wanted our character to be like. As she thinks that she rules everybody in the school and see's herself as the leader of the pack and looks down on those of a lower status to hers. She also forms a clique of strictly what one would regard as a group of "Posh Totty's" they are the girls that are pristine and what to be seen by everyone as the best and nothing but it.

Evaluation Question 7

In these particular shots one from our prelium task and one from our final film. the two are in contrast with one another as both are differennt over the shouldre shots however the prelium task does not quite fit the bill for an over the shouldre shot as you can clearly still see space around the charater whereas our final film's over the shoulder shot uses the whole technique to the full.

In these particular shot's one the prelium task and one the our final film both shots are a close up. the prelium task's close up however does not pay full attention to the hand gesture whereas the one in our final film does as you can clearly see the movement of the gesture but on the other hand the angle of the shot for the prelium task could of been used effestively for the final film shot.

These two shot's one from the prelium and one from the final film are in contrast to eachother as we learnt how to use all the space in a scene and learnt how to frame it better as in the prelium task the space is average and uses to much space whereas the final film uses just enough of the space and you can see that the focus is on the characters as well as their surrondings.

These two shot's one from our prelium task and one from our final film are shown at an angle for our character to be shown in their environment and what is going on around them . However our Prelium task shot didn't quite for fill this as the audience are unable to see what is going on in the scene this meant that when it came to our Final Film shot we were able to gain the skill of using the space around us more effectively.

Evaluation Question 1

Our film Opening "After Dark" is based on a book by R.L Stine "Monster Teacher". We got our idea and ambition from the book as we were able to get a good understanding of how we should approach the film. The hand that rocks the cradle and color of night are films that are based on people with caring authority but have a twisted mind and seek to hurt the one they are supposed to care for. "After Dark" follows this complex twist of those in Authority who choose to mis-use it.

The over the shoulder shot creates a sense of loneliness as it also adds space to the shot to create this affect. It can also create an affect for both the character and the audience as they both do not know what may appear behind.

One of the affects we used through editing was a "Ghosting" blur which in general gave our audience at the beginning of the Film a feel for what the film will require it also gave them the affect that our character was being chased also, the low angle used creates the sense of the character being small and under mind by a non-existing creature chasing her.

The shot that conforms to a traditional Horror piece would be our shot of the "Creature" hovering over our "Victim" but the victim is none the wiser until she turns around and see what her fate. In a other shot which is a wide angle as it shows the area around the character however the camera focuses more on the two characters facial expressions as one's is angry and the others is confused as it focuses on how one character is trying to warn the other character  but has a hard time getting the message across therefore we see her emotions run high as she tries to tell her friend this also, makes the audience think about what her friend is going to do will she take her advice or not?
